Wamuran Rugby Union was founded by Rose and Tevita Mailau in 2026, They set out to build a fun community environment for kids to grow in a positive space, while creating opportunities for young players to develop and grow both on and off the field.

 

Along the way, they connected with like-minded members of the community through sport, bringing together a trusted group who shared the same vision and passion.

Together, they established the club identity — WAM RAMS — and formed the inaugural Wamuran Rugby Union committee. This committed team now leads the club, combining their experience and community ties to create a strong foundation for the future.
